Funding

All children aged 3 and 4 years are entitled to 15 hours per week FREE nursery care (term time only). You pay only for meals (or provide a packed lunch).

You are able to claim funding in the term following their 3rd birthday.

If your child was born between

• 1st January – 31st March – they will start at the beginning of the summer term (after the Easter holidays)
• 1st April – 31st August – they will start at the beginning of the Autumn term (September)
• 1st September – 31st December – they will start at the beginning of the Spring term (January)

If your child is 2 years old you may be entitled to funding. Please ring Derbyshire County Council on 01629 539316 / 539317 for more information.

They will confirm the date that your child can receive their free place from in writing and this must be given to us so we can claim the funding.
